– Bridging the Indoor/Outdoor Gap  (February 2011)

The line between indoor and field lacrosse used to be defined. The United States dominated the field game, while Canada owned box lacrosse. That line, of course, has started to blur in the last decade as more Canadians have brought their indoor skills to NCAA teams in the U.S., and Team Canada won gold in field lacrosse at the 2006 ILF World Championships.

For 10 years, Maryland-based Adaptive Lacrosse has allowed children with special needs to participate in the game of lacrosse. Through their dedication, this program has proven that anyone can play the fastest growing sport in the U.S.
